Hi, my name is Jay Jay. I am a handsome, medium sized, 6 year old Staffy x. I am currently in foster care and even though I love my foster parents, I desperately want to share all my love with a family of my own.

I love to be around people and I am a real family dog, though I would be best with teenagers as I do get very excited. I can sometimes get a little too greedy when I have to share all the attention but I do love playing with other dogs!

I am an active boy and am adaptable, so any exercise is acceptable to me.I must stress a few things that I need to keep me happy and healthy. I must have secure 6 foot fences, a doggy friend to keep me company or someone who is home a lot during the day, no cats, training, exercise, and attention. In my ideal home, I would love to be inside with the family of a night and when they are home. I am toilet trained and behave myself very well indoors. I will do anything to be inside with my family! I will repay you with loads of attention, cuddles, kisses and my loyalty. You can also expect lots of laughs and warm feet during Winter!
I know how to sit and come when called. I am learning to do some other basic commands such as lie down and stay. I am a very fun dog and I love to play. I especially love to chase my ball and squeaky toys! I also enjoy car rides, hide and seek with food, swimming, and doggy play dates. I also love cuddles with my family of a night. I would be a great dog to take on adventures to the beach and park!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
