About Daisy (On Trial 17/8/13)
Daisy is a well mannered, 8 week old, Mastiff x Staffy puppy. She is very playful and energetic. She is quite intelligent and learns very quickly. She has mastered a doggy door and stairs in just a few days. We have started some basic training with her and she now comes when called and is learning to go to the toilet outside during the day and to use paper at night.
Daisy plays well with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind cats. She also loves children.
Daisy will need a yard to run around in and good fencing as she will grow up to be a medium to large dog. Being such a young puppy she will need to be inside during the night and bad weather. She will love being inside feeling safe and loved.
Daisy will need daily walking and will benefit greatly from puppy school. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. Her birthday is approximately 18/5/13.
For more information or to meet Daisy please phone foster carer Kylie on 0470 704 513 or email saveadog@dodo.com.au . Daisy is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW (northwest of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Daisy's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
