Marley

Marley is a cruisy, gentle pup that everyone loves to love. She was tearfully surrendered to us due to her family’s changing circumstances, so unlike most rescues we know her background has been positive and she has simply gone from one loving home to an equally loving foster home. Because she is young and there was no pound trauma to overcome, she settled immediately and is ready to find her forever home.

Being only six months old, Marley is still learning, but her nature is so gentle that it’s a pleasure to watch her grow into her manners. She’s learning to sit, naturally waits for her food and is a very patient, non-aggressive eater. She walks well on a lead and shows no sign of hyperactivity. In short, she’s a really easygoing pup. Consistency with basic obedience rules will see this naturally good girl turn into a very graceful lady.

Marley is pretty, gentle, sweet and good natured, which makes her a great fit for almost any home situation where she will get the exercise and stimulation border collies need to stay happy. She hasn’t shown any work drive so her exercise needs won’t be extreme, but she will need to be part of an active home where she can be part of daily life. She’s great with other dogs and has had lots of time with older children and is happy to be cuddled or played with for as long as possible!

If you love border collies, this girl is an absolute gem and will make a wonderful companion for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.
