About Mikey
Mikey is a wonderful, loving boy-a Dane cross possibly with cattle dog in him. He has been in foster care for a few weeks and has blossomed. He is a bit timid when he first meets new people, especially men, but once he gets to know them he is friendly and loves their company. He just needs to be given time to gain confidence. He is playful and would be very happy sharing with a gentle female dog. He enjoys a bit of a walk and is obedient.
Adoption details
Advertisement on PetRescue. I talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
I arrange a meeting with the animal and If all goes well completion of paperwork and payment is done through my vet. The adopter gets a receipt from the vet surgery.
I keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
