About Macy Grey
Macy Grey is a small female greyhound and only 14 months (DOB April 2012).
She was advertised on Gumtree ‘free to good home’ by the owner who had no time for Macy Grey. Before that, Macy Grey was supposed to become a racing greyhound but lucky for her, the owners lost her papers and couldn’t register her.
Macy Grey is currently underweight and has a horrible, dull, brown grey woolly coat. She doesn’t look her best yet but soon she will have a sleek, shiny blue coat like she is supposed to have.
Macy Grey has been living with another greyhound boy and Bull Terrier girl in foster care and is just a sweet little thing. She is toilet trained but needed to some help to understand how to walk on a lead, share foods and beds but has been a super quick learner. Macy is very obedient and wants to please and would be best suited to a family willing to continue her training and development.
She is also great with dogs of all sizes and her tails wags nonstop when she meets a new dog. But she has a high prey drive so you need to be a bit careful when she meets cats or very small dogs. When on leash, she is friendly with cats and small dogs but you need to be careful when she is off leash. She has not been tested with cats and we don’t think she is currently cat friendly.
Macy Grey has also tested really well with small children and dived head first into all the action when asked to play with a four year old. She couldn’t get enough and enjoyed playing as well as cuddling with the little and big ones alike. When asked to stop playing, she cuddled up and handed out kisses to encourage more playing but settled down very shortly.
Macy Grey is de-sexed, vaccinated and microchipped (#958000005229610) and ready to find her forever home. Any inquiries for Macy, please email kaysgreys@gmail.com to find out more
