About Obie
Obie is a friendly and playful boy. He wants to say hello to everyone on the street, they all love me don’t they? He likes to split his time between his two favourite things, cuddling and playing. He will play with toys, people, other dogs, anything! And he loves to have a smoochy cuddle too. Obie is a talker - he likes to tell you how he’s feeling which is very happy to be out of the pound.
Obie is still a young dog and has a few puppy traits. He is toilet trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He walks well on the lead, but still needs some more training. Obie does like to jump, and he is such an athletic boy that he can jump pretty high. We are teaching him not to jump, but he couldn’t be rehomed with small children, he would just knock them over in his excitement.
Being athletic, Obie would love to be the dog you take for long walks or runs. He would benefit from attending obedience school, and you might even find he will do well at agility or flyball. Obie is an adaptable boy who will make the most of any situation he is in.
Obie would love to have a doggy playmate. He loves to run and play with other dogs. Obie is currently living with cats and also enjoys their company, but he doesn't understand that he is a lot bigger than them!
Obie is a lovely friendly boy looking for someone (or everyone) to love.
