About Jillie (On Trial 16/7/13)
Jillie is a delightful 2 to 3 year old "Shoodle", a Shih Tzu x Mini Poodle. She is playful and affectionate and oh so very cute! She loves to follow you around everywhere and always has her tail wagging. Jillie is great with other dogs and kids.
Jillie will need her coat brushed every second day and grooming around every 6-8 weeks to keep her coat looking great. She loves being brushed and pampered.
Jillie loves to go out and about for her daily walks and travels well in the car.
As Jillie is so devoted she loves to sleep in our bed. She would be suited to a home that will let this continue and where she will be involved in the family life. She would suit a retired couple or a home where someone is home all or part of the time best.
For more information or to meet Jillie please phone foster carer Michelle on 0468 939 132. Jillie is in foster care in Port Stephens, NSW (around 30 minutes north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Jillie's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
