About Reggie
Reggie is a lovely friendly boy who is looking for a best friend.
He gets along with all everyone, and loves his people.
He is really quite affectionate.
He gets along great with other dogs of all types and sizes, Reggie is a lover not a fighter, and is rather quite submissive.
He is currently living with three other dogs and loves them all.
But you will quite often see him running around playing by himself with his toy – having a ball of a time.
He has lived with cats before, however I think Reggie would be best suited to a hope without cats, as he constantly chased them around the place. But then he would just corner them and bark at them.
He is house trained.
He has pretty good inside manners, and Reggie would love to be inside with his new best friend, and not left outside when they are home.
He is quite good to walk on lead, he doesn’t heal as such, but once he gets over his first outburst of excitement he just trots along without pulling. With beagles they tend to follow their nose so not always good with the recall.
Reggie needs a secure yard with someone home most of the time for companionship. If Reggie’s new best friend has to go out for work, Reggie would need another dog for companionship. Reggie doesn’t suffer from anxiety – he just doesn’t like to be left on his own.
Reggie isn’t destructive,
he doesn’t dig or chew, but loves his daily outings.
Reggie doesn’t bark much at all, but when he does it is for a reason – so he is good at letting you know when someone is approaching the house. He is a great alert dog, but a lousy guard dog, as he just greets all visitors with cuddles!
Reggie travels great in the car; he just sits there looking out the window.
Reggie would suit almost any family type, providing that they are willing to let him be their best mate.
