About Pebbles (On Trial 28/7/13)
Looking for a man who enjoys cooking, cleaning, gardening and washing? Pebbles will diligently keep you company during all of your chores without complaint. He is a super little Maltese (I mean tiny at only 4.5kgs!) who will loves to be by your side. He is past puppyhood so you don't have to worry about your shoes getting chewed or him digging up the yard. At only 8 years old he still has the entire second half of his life to enjoy with his new family.
Pebbles gets on with other dogs and keeps a one meter radius away from the cat. But his preferred company is definitely humans. Pebbles was in poor condition when he was rescued. He had to be shaved down to his birthday suit but it hasn't taken long for his soft white fluff to return. He looks gorgeous now. A whole new man!
Pebbles has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and handsome. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
This loyal, loving little fellow will make his new mum and/or dad feel very special and lucky to have found him.
For more information or to meet Pebbles please phone foster carer Kate on 0401 856 140 or 02-4957-0973 or email mark.kate@live.com.au . Pebbles is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW 2305 and is available for adoption interstate.
Pebbles's $200 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
