Macy ~ Sweet Senior $100 ~

Macy is a sweet and extremely happy old girl. She puts the youngins to shame in this house because she is like the energy bunny. The ball is Macy's game of choice and you will grow tired long before she does - trust me! I consider myself lucky to foster Macy because she puts a smile on my face everyday with her antics. Macy is full of personality and is a bit of a show off. Her favourite thing to do is stand on her back legs walking whilst smiling at you - literally smiling!!

We had to pick out a new name for her as we didn't know her old one. When I first called her Macy her tail wagged and she gave me her signature smile so I think it's a given she likes her new one. She really likes the other foster dogs she is housed with, especially showing them that for an old girl she has still got some moves. Macy was really skinny when she came into my care but after a few weeks of good healthy food she is back to a healthy weight. Given her age, Macy will need to continue a good diet & specially catered for her age. I have been adding some joint guard (sasha's blend) into Macy's dinner to help with her joints. Her favourite treat is chicken breast that I dehydrate in the oven - she wags her tail so fast it's like a propeller!

Macy feels the cold & has a selection of coats to wear. She will walk up to you & stand still while you put it on her. Macy is housetrained but will have the occasional accident at night & given her age I think that's understandable. Throughout the day I just leave the door open and Macy will come and go as she pleases. Macy is a joy to foster and is no problem. She is an inside dog both throughout the day and night.
