About Mavric
Greyhounds make beautiful ornaments for your couch. They love a run and a short walk every day and then will laze around wanting only for affection. Mavric is a beautiful boy with a lovely temperament. He gets on well with other dogs even small fluffy ones and is gentle as a lamb with children of all sizes. He would not suit a home with small animals. Maveric has had one of his toes amputated it is healing well and he is pictured here with his bandage. His foster carer wrote:Maveric has been in our foster care for 3 weeks and is a delight to have around. We have two large dogs ? so there is plenty to get him excited but he is always well mannered and respectful of the others. Being a young dog he likes to play collecting the odd shoe or boot and arranging all the doggy toys neatly on his bed. Nothing chewed or trashed no accidents in the house ? if you ignore a request to go outside for the toilet you get a little song!! Mav is a very fast learner and slots into a routine quickly. Waking in the morning ? he certainly celebrates being alive waggy tail and lots of love for everyone. [with the occasional song too] Walks on a loose lead ? loves having a run down the dog beach a pocket of treats is handy to aid a speedy return to base!! Very social with people and other dogs ? have noticed groups of loud or boisterous children seem to scare him a bit but he will just stand or push into your leg until they pass he has greeted quiet and special needs children in a loving friendly way.Mav doesn?t need lots of exercise but happily participates in whatever is happening a run on the beach walk down the road or a snooze in the sun. He is a very very loving dog with a big personality and heart; someone is going to be very lucky to have him as a lifetime partner.
