On Hold
About Nugget-Bright and bubbly
Best way for me to describe Nugget is for you to imagine a chihuahua on springs. He bounces and bounces and bounces! He just loves to bounce back and forth. He loves to jump for the ball and will bring it back to you as well. A great candidate for agility and frisbee. Nugget is OK with cats. Hes quite curious, and will approach them slowly and sniff them, but is never rough. He is fine with our dogs, although he was a little shy with our larger kelpie, but can get incredibly excitable when he cannot get to play with them.
He seems to be crate trained, as he happily sleeps in one of a night. Perfectly toilet trained, will hold on until you decide to let him out. Does not whine or cry when in the dog room or in crate, though he does get a little upset when he is alone. For this reason, we feel he would be best suited to a home where he is either accompanied by a dog, smaller the better, or with a human for the most part of the day.
He is still learning house manners, and learning to listen to humans when they speak. Sometimes we are not sure if he is deaf or simply too excited to listen to us.
Overall, we find him to be a very lovely, very happy and very excitable young man.
