About Puppy Ella (On Trial 13/7/13)
Hi my name is Ella and I'm a cuddly, female, Mini Foxy x Shar-Pei, only 9 weeks old. I am a very friendly and loving little puppy and I like to be with you and to sit on your lap. I also love to run around and play and just be silly. I'm too young to be fully toilet trained but when my foster mum puts me outside after a meal, I will go to the toilet, so I have started learning. I love my food and eat what you give me.
I love to play puppy games with my brothers Lenny and Cooper, who are also looking for forever homes. I would be fine being an only dog, but I would also be very happy to have a new doggy friend if you already have one. My foster mum has cats and I get on just fine with them.
I'm an inside dog and sleep inside. My foster mum lets me outside to play and go to the toilet during the day, but I must be kept inside at night. I sleep in my own bed so I'm no trouble. I'm not allowed to be kept outside all the time because I'm only little and even when I get bigger I still have to be allowed inside because that's the safest and most comfortable place for me.
I wouldn't be suitable with a family with children under the age of 7 as I have sharp puppy teeth and I wouldn't want to hurt your babies by accident. Will you come and meet me so I can show you how good I am?
-----
Ella is too young to be left home alone all day. She would be best suited to a home where not everyone works all day or where there is another friendly dog to keep her company while the family are out.
PLEASE NOTE: Shar-Peis (even crosses) are not for first time dog owners. Owners need to make a commitment to training and socialising puppies and will be rewarded with a loyal and affectionate friend.
For more information or to meet Ella please phone foster carer Krystina on 0414-702-323 or email krystina_ws@hotmail.com . Ella is in foster care near Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Ella's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Ella's brother Lenny and Cooper are also available for adoption.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
