About Puppy, Finn (On Trial 21/8/13)
Finn is a 4 month old, female, pug x terrier puppy. Her name means "Blond" because she is a pretty fawn colour and has a very soft, gentle appearance. She is a well balanced puppy: very sweet natured and fun-loving. She has been a delight to care for.
Finn is more outgoing than her sister Mia (who is also available for adoption). Finn is always the first of the two to have a go. She has a funny habit of enjoying laying on the back of the lounge. I think she likes to have a good view of everything going on. She loves getting cuddles and gets quite excited when she first comes inside but settles quickly. She is an inside dog. She loves her food and isn't fussy at all. She has interacted well with our other larger dogs and cats with no problem at all.
Finn is eager to please and is doing well with learning to walk on a lead. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. Finn's mother is a pug cross and dad is a mystery man, possibly a terrier or maybe even a small kelpie x. Finn has curly pug tail and colouring but is much taller than a pug.
She will need to live inside with access to the outside and be included as a member of the family. If you can commit to giving Finn plenty of love and attention then please send a text message to foster carer Kristy 0411 335 449 . Finn is in foster care in Kurri Kurri, NSW (25 minutes west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Finn's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
