About Barney
Rescued from death row, he is now healthy and standing tall, quickly gaining weight and filling out. Barney is quickly learning how to be a puppy, chasing tennis balls and his tail. He has finally figured out how to chew a bone - a big achievement for this shy little pup! Barney is quite shy with people, however, once he gains your trust he is all over you! This pup is much calmer than his little brother, Ted, who is also up for adoption.
He loves people, other dogs and is currently living with cats, quickly learning his place in the house. He is eager to please and is always by your side. Currently being toilet-trained and is doing very well. He is also crate trained and knows how to sit.
It is guessed that he is a mix of boxer and terrier, and will grow to be a medium-large sized dog. He will need a home with a large outdoor area where he will be walked regularly.
