Milton

Milton loves just about everything - running, swimming, playing, eating, and occasionally even sleeping. And he absolutely loves kids! he has such a happy disposition and loving and loyal nature. Milton is housetrained, walks well on lead, great in the car, loves other dogs, and doesn't bark much. He just wants to have fun 24/7, and be a part of whatever you are doing. Milton gets on well with our aging border collie and the many other dogs he has met on the beach. In fact he wants to play with every dog he meets and can't understand why our aging cat won't play with him too! he has discovered swimming - at the beach, cooling off in our fish pond and on the top step of our pool - all of which he does of his own accord when it is hot. The boys are teaching him to stand on a boogie board in the pool because they think he could be a 'surfer' one day. Milton just so wants to be part of a loving family - he thrives on attention and love and of course fun! he would suit an active family with children or a home where he would get lots of company during the day. He would love to be homed with another dog keen to play games and chasey with him. Milton is very intelligent and probably could be taught to leave cats alone but it would take time and patience. He probably wouldn't be good in a home with small furry pets such as rabbits/guinea pigs unless these are caged well - as our ferrets discovered. He is after all a terrier!

We have nicknamed him ziggy stardust or ziggy for short, and in the short time we have fostered him he has sprinkled some magic in our lives - he so deserves a second chance and a loving home for life.
