About Indy
Meet Indy, a 2 year old pure ridgeback girl who is waiting for the perfect forever home.
Indy is a very affectionate girl who loves interaction with people. She doesn't seem to realise how big she is, and loves to sit in your lap.
Indy is a clever girl who has learnt the rules of her foster home easily. She gets on well with her foster brother, and we feel she would do well going to a home with another dog, or one where her family is home for the majority of the day, as she is much happier when she isn't by herself. We don't think she's had a lot of interaction with other dogs and can be quite full on at first but loves to have a friend around.
Indy will need some consistent training. With the support of her foster family she is starting to learn to walk well on a lead, she is strong, but is learning quickly.
Indy hasn't had the best life so far but has so much love to give, she is looking for a forever home with lots of cuddles and attention. If she sounds like the girl for you give us a call today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs. All of our dogs have been thoroughly assessed and most have been through our Acacia Prison Animal Training Programme.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Gloria on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Some of our dogs are located in our shelter in Northam so you will need to meet it there. Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
