About Tyler (On Trial 8/3/14)
Tyler is an angel of a dog. He's a 15 month old, Red Cattle Dog X Staffy. Everyone who meets him falls for him. He has a gentle soul and a kind heart. Strangers always tell us what a good looking dog he is and how lovely his personality is. He loves everyone, including other dogs and will convince everyone to give him a cuddle by rolling over onto his back and looking at them lovingly. If other dogs bark or growl at him, he will roll on his back and submit. He loves cuddles and belly rubs and being around people.
Tyler has been well trained whilst living with a loving family. He is GREAT with children, even small ones. He gets along well with his foster carer's small dogs and has been fine living with large dogs too. He doesn't like cats though and will chase them.
Tyler is housetrained, well behaved, obedient and loyal. He is not barker (even when someone comes to the door). He can be walked without a leash as he is obedient. He is out of the puppy digging phase, doesn’t jump up. He is used to sleeping outside but would be happy to come inside too. He knows how to ‘sit‘, ‘down’, 'wait', and ‘come’.
Tyler is used to being part of the family and being allowed inside when we're home. He loves driving to pick up the kids, and going in the car for any reason. He loves to play and go for walks and runs on the beach. He tries to get up on your lap for cuddles at the end of a day.
Important: Tyler definitely needs to go to a home with at least one other dog as a companion as he gets lonely and may try to jump the fence to find other dogs to play with, thus needs a 6 ft. high fence and dog company. He loves people so he would be in heaven if he could go to a home where someone who is home a lot.
Tyler is a special soul. He will find a place in your heart and you will wonder how you got by without him.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
