About Charlie
Gentleman Charlie is an absolute delight. With personality plus this adorable boy will charm you as he shakes your hand or sits on his hind legs with front paws in the air.
Charlie gets along well with other dogs. He adores humans and very quickly develops a bond when he meets somebody new.
This smart fellow is house trained, he understands the command to sit and knows to stop what he is doing when told ‘no’. Come dinner time he will sit, stay and wait until allowed to eat.
Charlie has been practicing walking on the lead and has been learning the heel and drop command. Charlie is a bit of a social butterfly and when getting his daily exercise, the excitement of greeting fellow walkers can find him attempting to jump on them as he says hello.
Charlie will blossom under further training. He is an intelligent creature and has the potential to master many commands. Charlie responds exceptionally well to training with treats.
Despite the fact Charlie is full of energy, at night he is happy to rest comfortably, chilling out with his family.
Charlie’s ideal forever home would be filled with love and attention. Charlie needs to be walked daily and quality time spent playing with this active boy will keep him content. Charlie enjoys company and would be happy to share his life with another dog. Currently Charlie shares his home with a cat. He can get excited when his feline friend is around but they get along just fine.
Charlie is still getting used to his large body and at times can forget he is a big boy. His size combined with playful enthusiasm perhaps may find Charlie not suited to a family with small children as he may unintentionally bump them. \
Charlie truly is a magic boy. He is cheerful, loving and can’t wait to meet his soul family.
