About Gracie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*GRACIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Lovely natured Gracie was rescued from Robinvale pound by one of our wonderful SARG committee members. Our vets seem to think she’s has Ridgeback in her as well as some Staffy and reckon she’ll be the size of a small Labrador once she finishes growing. She gets along well with her carers other dogs and is used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making her pretty much “bomb proof” – she’s even good with the household cats and the ducks and chickens! And you should see her bouncing around after her foster carers pet rabbits and then she’ll curl up for a puppy-nap with their pet pig who thinks he’s a dog anyway! Gracie LOVES food and isn’t fussy so this is helping with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”.
Adorable Gracie is a soft, gentle natured pup who thrives on attention and often finds herself being pushed around in her carers daughters dolly pram – cute! She also enjoys play time and gets into a good game of tug-o-war and is learning to fetch. Gracie is also a real snuggle-bunny and is quite content to curl up by your side (or on your lap!). As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep Gracie stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief.

As Gracie is already picking up housetraining and sleeps inside at night she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup as she's used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
