About Rocky (On Rial 30/6/13)
Rocky is an 11 month old Mini Pinscher X Foxy who loves life, and kids, and getting huge cuddles. He came into our home and instantly let himself be known as a lovable and playful bundle of fun. He is used to being outside but loves the companionship of the family inside. Rocky has loads of energy, he loves walks and runs in the park, he will potter around with you in the garden and just generally keep you company. He also gets along well with other dogs, and believes having a good play is a great way to spend the day.
An active family is what is needed to keep Rocky the happy dog he is. Older children or another dog would be considered an added bonus in his pursuit of fun.
For more information or to meet Rocky please phone foster carer Karen or Jason on 02-4947-7703 or 0432 672 356. Rocky is in foster care in Floraville, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Rocky's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
