Roo has been at the Animal Shelter since 10/04/2013.

Roo is our bouncy Bull Terrier X. This sweetheart does not like the shelter life one bit and is bursting at the seams to get out for a run and chase some balls and toys with his brand new owner.

An assertive demeanor is essential to train these dogs and they are certainly not for an inexperienced owner. Roo will need a medium to large sized backyard with lots of toys and play things to keep him occupied and have his mind stimulated. He will also need daily exercise and it is vital that he is socialised with other canines and humans constantly throughout the course of his life.

Bull Terriers have a strong prey instinct and should be slowly and carefully introduced to other pets of the household. Roo has a beautiful smile and lean athletic body and will be a great pet for someone who is looking for a smart, handsome, loyal, active and loving dog.
