Ben

Ben is currently on a two week adoption trial. Ben is a great little dog. He is very intelligent - he has learnt to sit, wait, go back and lie down after a short time in care. He is very loving - Ben will sit at your feet as you work, lie at the end of the bed quietly at night time and is very obedient. Ben walks well on lead and when off-leash he will constantly check in with you to see that everything is OK! He loves to swim but you have to keep your eye on him as a dirty, stinky pond is quite an attraction to him!! It is lucky that he loves being washed and groomed!! Ben is toilet trained and will nudge you when he needs to go outside. All of the above does make Ben seem perfect but he has had issues in the past which he is learning to overcome. At this time we feel he must be rehomed with another friendly and playful dog and would not suit a home with children. His new owner must be tolerant and understanding and in time, Ben will be 100% We never know what has happened to any of our rescues before they reach the Pound but they all deserve a second-chance. Ben is being fostered in the eastern suburbs.
