About Puppy Bonnie(2) (On Trial 7/8/13)
Bonnie is a gorgeous 14 week old Australian Cattle Dog puppy. She has a light tan/red coat with a blue cattle dog face. She is a beautiful friendly puppy who loves to play with our other older pups. We call her our little piglet because she lightly snores and makes funny snorting sounds which are adorable. She enjoys her walks and playing with her toys and is slowly learning obedience and fetch. She loves to be near you and loves to curl up next to you on the lounge. Bonnie is very affectionate and we think she would be great with children however we don't have children so we are not certain but she is always gentle and loves a cuddle.
Bonnie is very close to our older border collie puppy, so it would be good if she can go to a family with a dog who she can be great friends with too. However, I'm sure she would be okay as the only fur child if she is given plenty of love and attention.
She is slowly learning to be housetrained and has only had a few accidents. She is starting to respond well to 'wees&poos' when we take her out on the grass. Bonnie is great on the lead and is learning to sit, shake and drop. She sleeps on her bed inside during the night and is inside when we are home. During the day while we are at work, she is happy playing outside with her toys and loves to see you when you get home. She is a brave and curious little pup who has a lovely gentle nature and would make a great addition to any family looking for a friendly dog.
For more information or to meet Bonnie please phone foster carer Lily on 0413 599 588. Bonnie is in foster care in Waratah in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Bonnie will be desexed this week and will be able to go to her permanent home after the 4th of July 2013. You can meet her now and leave a deposit if you would like her to join your family.
Bonnie's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
