About Axel (On Trial 7/7/13)
Axel is a 6 month old Mastiff x and is just the sweetest of boys. He has so much love to give. He gets on well with other dogs and cats don’t phase him. He adores people and kids. He would need a family with time to spend with him and give him a daily walk.
Axel loves attention and cuddles. He has started obedience training and picks up very quickly. This will need to be continued as he is going to be a big boy. He likes to come inside at night while you are watching TV and lay on his bed just so he can be near you. He is not the type of dog to spend all of his time outside. When inside he is very well behaved and settles on his bed. He walks fantastically on the lead and off lead he is great.
For more information or to meet Axel please phone foster carer Mel on 0432 288 773 or email me11ne@hotmail.com . Axel is in foster care in Edgeworth, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Axel's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
