About Loki (On Trial 19/7/13)
Loki is a 1 year old Mini Foxy x Jack Russell, smooth coated. He is great with children and other dogs. He likes to play ball and chasing with the kids. He does simple commands like sit, lay, roll over. Loki loves to do everything we do. He often curls up on the lounge with the kids off a night.
He is housetrained and is an inside dog. He's currently living with 6 children ranging in age from 1 year to 13 years old. They can dress him up and do anything to him and he just enjoys the attention. He sleeps on the kid's beds. We don't have cats so don't know what he's like with them.
Loki was rescued from \ a country area where, through no fault of his own, his owner no longer wanted him. Loki's ideal home would be where he could be an inside dog as he is very small and fine coated and feels the cold. He loves children and other dogs. \ I think he would be too lively and quick for elderly people as he may trip them up but other than that would be perfect for anyone wanting a small inside companion. He's just an easy, happy, friendly little man waiting for a home to call his own.
For more information or to meet Loki please phone Caroline on 02-4988-6401 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com . Loki is in foster care in Cooranbong, NSW 2265 (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate.
Loki's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
