About Tess *On Trial in Her New Home*
*TESS IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Meet adorable Tess!! A change in her owners circumstances have left her looking for a new forever home; will it be with you?
Tess is a healthy, happy, affectionate little dog who loves everyone she meets! She can be quite energetic and a little bit silly though she also enjoys relaxing next to you while you watch tv at night. Busy girl Tess loves to be in the middle of whatever is happening; it is all about her and her carer often calls her “Miss Nosey”!! Tess loves her food, including dry food, raw bones and treats which is helping with her training (she has been learning "sit" and "down") and she is very gentle taking food from you. \ Tess is currently in care with a male Terrier/Kelpie cross and they get along wonderfully; playing all day long and making cunning plans to takeover the cat who Tess wants to make friends with but the cat doesn't want to play with the slobbery ball or toy that Tessa insists on bringing to her and has received a smack on the nose for her efforts!

Tess can be a bit submissive and will roll onto her back for tummy rubs. She can also be a little timid at times if she hears a loud bang or someone yelling and will hide, but soon comes out again for cuddles and reassurance. Clever Tess has learnt how to use the doggie door and is sleeping inside and only had a few little accidents while she learnt the household routine (she was an outside only dog in her previous life). She has also learnt how to walk on a lead as she'd never been on one before and she really enjoys getting out and about. \ We feel Tess would be best suited to a home with another friendly, playful dog and/or with someone who is home often; she is good with children and would be better suited to school age kids as she may be a bit bouncy for little toddlers. \
She has a lovely soft coat which will only need the occasional bath and she doesn't appear to lose much hair. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, bones to chew on (she loves chicken wingettes!) and stuffed toys to play with will make Tess very happy indeed!!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
