About Suzie Q
Suzie Q came from the Pound in appalling condition and is a case of complete and utter neglect. Suzie Q had mammary tumours that have been left untreated for a long period of time and required very long surgery to remove them so is now sporting a scar that resembles a zipper on her tummy going from one end to the other. Suzie Q had chest x-rays at the time of her surgery as we needed to know that there was no spread of the mammary cancer and they were clear. \ Her coat was in such a filthy, matted state that it took her groomer one and a half hours to clip her off and all the while this little angel just sat and licked her groomer as if to say thank you for helping me. Suzie Q is in foster care with a retired couple who cannot believe how thankful this little girl is for all that has been done for her. She sits in her basket all cosy and warm with a lovely woollen jumper on while resting and recovering from her surgery. Suzie Q only hops out to go for a short walk to the grass for her wee stops then hops straight back into her bed, enjoying lots of pats and cuddles. Suzie Q is the dearest, sweetest little dog and we hope to find her the perfect home where she will be loved and cared for forever.
UPDATED 14 NOVEMBER: Suzie Q has come a long way since coming from the Pound. She has recovered completely from her surgery and is really enjoying her life. Suzie Q is in foster care as an only dog and laps up all the attention lavished on her by her two retired foster carers. Suzie goes out on a walk every day and says hi to all who pass by. She has incredible energy and is loving life and all that it gives her. Suzie Q would love a home with an active retiree or family and is a house dog that is house trained so must have access to the house at all times. She has a coat that will grow and require regular grooming to keep her looking her best.
