About Sybil
SYBIL ... Seeking her forever family currently in foster care.
Lovely Sybil is currently in foster care waiting for her new family to find her.
We know Sybil will go well as these guys are fantastic foster carers and they will prepare her for her forever home. Sybil is a shy Grey girl who came to the Greys4Pets/Pets in Limbo rescue shelter having been sadly used as a breeding dog in the Greyhound Racing industry. Sybil has never raced.
This girl has a very easy going, gentle, quiet nature and when she first arrived in foster care spent the first few days curled up on her new bed, she is starting to come out of her shell a little bit more and show us what a kind, gentle personality she has. Sybil doesn’t know what a couch is yet, she hasn’t even tried to get on the couch like most Greyhounds she is happy snuggling up in a comfy ball on her bed.
Sybil was good with other dogs at the rescue both male and female and she seems to like her foster sister lovely old Cubes the Belgian Shepherd. Check out the sweet photo in her foster care photos of Sybil resting her head on Cubes. This girl is not high maintenance at all sadly she has not known much in her life in terms of affection therefore expects little and is always grateful for any love and attention she receives .... A very darling Grey girl anyone who has adopted or fostered a Greyhound will tell you what wonderful family pets they are
Adoption details
Please email or phone to make the enquiry about the dog you are interested in adopting and we can answer any further questions you may have. We will then send you an adoption application form to complete and return via email along with ID and photo's of your garden/yard and fencing/gates.
If the adoption application is approved a home check & meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting will be arranged. If you have other dogs in the family we like them to come along and also meet with the dog.
If all goes ahead and you adopt the dog there is a 4 week trial period to make sure they settle in their new home ok. If it works out well the adoption papers are then finalised and all dogs from our adoption program must be registered with your local council and the microchip details changed into your name and contact details.
