About Buzz (On Trial 22/8/13)
Buzz is a beautiful 7 month old male border collie x kelpie x cattle dog. He is such an affectionate puppy with a beautiful nature and loves nothing more than playing and cuddling with other dogs and people.
He is a fast learner and I’m amazed at his attention span when we train everyday. He knows how to sit, shake, lie down and sit/stay for his dinner. He is also learning how to spin, speak and other fun tricks!
As he is an energetic pup, and he sometimes jumps when he gets excited, so he would suit a family with children 12 years or older until he matures. He enjoys a daily walk/run and is learning not to pull on the lead. The dog park is his new favourite place as he loves meeting new canine friends. As he has lived with other dogs since he was very young, it would be good for him to go to a home with another dog. He likes to talk with our other dog when they play, but besides that he is a quiet boy.
Buzz is house trained. He loves to cuddle on the couch and keep you warm, but is also perfectly happy to sleep in his bed on the floor if he’s not allowed on furniture. Buzz is a very loyal companion and will definitely be a lifelong best friend to his new family.
For more information or to meet Buzz please phone foster carer Carley on 0450 478 520. Buzz is in foster care in Medowie NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Buzz's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
