Lexy on trial in her new home

This pretty female mixed blend Shepherd x Husky is playful, loving and adores children. Lexy has come into our care having been abandoned by her former owners and we cannot understand why.

Lexy is a gentle soul with so much love to give she plays well with her fellow rescue dogs both male and female and being only a young dog she enjoys life to the full. Typical of this breed being Shepherd she is intelligent and quickly learns what she should and should not do.

Now fully housetrained and learning dog etiquette with her rescue pack Lexy would be a wonderful family dog for children over eight years of age, we only say this as she is a tall dog and little children may be knocked over only in play as she adores her foster carer family.

Lexy will grow to the size of a shepherd but has the soft downey coat of the husky. She is learning to walk well on a lead and can be a bit shy when first meeting strangers but soon warms to everyone.

So if you are looking for a companion dog who you can walk daily and have her as integral member of the family then consider Lexy. Or if you would like a friend for a playful medium to large size dog then Lexy would also be very suitable.
