About Millie (On Trial 20/7/13)
Millie is a 13 week old, female, Labrador x Kelpie puppy. She is a healthy, playful and very affectionate little girl. She is with a foster family with others dogs and young children so she is fine with them. She is still a puppy so will need training, such as going to puppy classes.
Millie (also known as Mildred) is an indoor/outdoor dog at the moment and sleeps inside. She doesn't mind spending time outdoors but needs some time inside with her family every day. Millie is looking for a forever home with people that will include her in their everyday activities, take her for a walk, and to let her be a member of the family.
For more information about Millie or to meet her please phone Kylie on 0470 704 513. Or send an email to saveadog@dodo.com.au and we will send you back an adoption application. Millie is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (Lake Macquarie).
Millie's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au . Millie's brother George is also available for adoption.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
