About George (On Trial 7/7/13)
George is a 13 week old, male, Labrador x Kelpie puppy. He is a healthy, playful and very cuddly pup. One of his best traits is that loves children and is very gentle with them. He loves nothing better than to have a play outside and then come in and lay on the mat for a cuddle.
George is still a puppy so he would benefit from training such puppy classes. He loves chewing on things when he is left alone, so he needs lots of chew toys to keep him happy. He also likes going for a walk and is good on his lead.
George is looking for a forever home with people that will include him in their everyday activities. George is an Indoor/outdoor dog at the moment. He likes to be outdoors but needs some time inside with his family every day.

George's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au . Geoge's sister Millie (also called Mildred) is also available for adoption.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
