Zeplin (On hold pending adoption 30/9/13)

Zeplin is a 6.5 month old, male puppy. His mum was Bull Arab x and dad was Shar-pei x Cattle Dog. He has adorable Shar-pei wrinkles on his forehead. So soft ! A very affectionate boy. He is exceptionally gentle with a neighbour's terrier puppy and cat. I was so proud of him. He may end up being a medium-tall boy but he is an affectionate gentle companion-seeking sweetie. The vet advises that he will grow up to be medium sized adult. He loves to sit on your lap as he thinks he's still only a puppy yet he is so gentle doing it. Exceptionally good with kids because he is so gentle. Though he may accidently knock small ones over when running he will turn and check on them to make sure they are OK.

Zeplin has access to inside and outside during the day and sleeps inside at night. Toilet training is mastered. He's a good boy in that department. Zeplin is still a puppy yet past that high maintenance toilet training period. He has the soft nature of an adult dog yet craves freedom to come and go inside to be with you.

Zeplin needs plenty of affection, exercise, and positive training (he loves being told he's a good boy) and not to be left outside in a yard all alone. Zeplin is a social puppy and spends most of his time inside the house each day yet loves to be with you to play outside as well or with his 4-legged foster brothers. He is a companion seeking puppy and loves to be able to come to you, snuggle up against you, go for walks and go for drives. He travels well in a car. Loves going to the beach and dog friendly parks. He would love another dog to play with yet needs your love and affection as well. He'd be great for someone as a companion and still energetic enough to take bush walking and on outings. Basically he craves to be part of the family.

Zeplin walks well on a lead. Knows the word sit and on walks we encourage him to sit before crossing the road. He gets along well with the other dogs here. He has no food aggression to the other dogs and even shared a bowl of puppy milk with the little terrier here right down to the last drop. Zeplin even knows to wait till the others are finished before checking their bowls.

He has a beautiful face with all his loose skin that he needs to grow into and continually looks up at you for guidance. Responds well to training as he loves to please. With his low shedding soft coat and loose skin you can't help but cuddle him. If allowed he'd snuggle with you on the lounge or bed. Zeplin will grow to be a medium to large dog but with his gentle nature he will be a big sweet cuddly boy and would love to be your family member. He does not hesitate to let you know he loves you with his gentle nature.
