About Radar
Meet Radar, a lovely little 2 year old chihuahua boy who is patiently waiting for his forever home.
Radar is a lovely, friendly boy who loves to snuggle up to his foster parents and go to sleep. He will follow you anywhere, and at 3kgs will fit right in! He's fine with smaller dogs but a little unsure of larger dogs until he gets to know them, but once he does he's the life of the party.
Radar would be fine with older kids, but due to his size we don't think he's cope well with little children as they can be a bit rough. \ He's currently learning not to bark at his foster families cats, he hasn't tried to hurt them (and they all weigh more than he does!)
Medical notes
Radar has one cloudy eye which doesn't seem to bother him or slow him down at all. It has been checked by the vet who doesn't seem concerned.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs. All of our dogs have been thoroughly assessed and most have been through our Acacia Prison Animal Training Programme.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Gloria on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Some of our dogs are located in our shelter in Northam so you will need to meet it there. Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
