About Sadie
Hi, my name is Sadie and I am a sweet girl of 6 years. Unfortunately I haven't had much of a life as have been used for backyard breeding. But now that I am at Stafford Rescue there will be no more puppies for me thank goodness and hopefully I can find a new family to love where I can just enjoy being the only dog and lap up some pampering.
Since I have been at Stafford Rescue they have noticed that I am very scared initially and think people are going to hurt me when they get up close and I cringe. Once I know you mean me no harm all I want are lots of cuddles.
I am used to sleeping inside and lived with children including a baby. I was always checking on the baby to make sure it was ok just like I did with my puppies. I am well behaved around kids but can get excited like all Staffies so you need to watch me in case I knock little ones over accidentally.
I am a good watch dog and barked when people came to the door but settled straight down if they came inside and were introduced to me.
I am well behaved in the car and have had no formal obedience training but understand basic commands like sit, down, bed or off (to get me off the couch).
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au and fill out an Adoption Request Form. Then ring Jan on 0408 515 111 after you have given her time to read it. Filling out an Adoption Request Form helps us match the dogs to the perfect family and having you on file fast tracks the process.
