About Spotty (On Trial 2/8/13)
Spotty is a 2yo, female, Mini Foxie. She is sweet, cuddly and full of life. She loves to play fetch with the ball and will continue to do so as long as you are willing to play. She gets on great with other dogs, cats, horses and children but not so much with birds as they are more fun to chase and play with.
Spotty is housetrained and will sleep wherever you put her bed, but if allowed, she would love to curl up with her human on their bed. Spotty is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least after dark, and to sleep inside.
She is an extremely affectionate girl and loves to sit on your lap for as long as possible. She loves to have a luxurious massage when you give her a bath and will stand there and enjoy every moment. She has a short, easy-care coat. Like any dog she needs a daily walk. Spotty would be ok as an only dog as long as someone is home a lot, otherwise she would need a canine friend to keep her company.
For more information or to meet Spotty please phone foster carer Jo on 0427 031 308. Spotty is in foster care in Croudace Bay, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Spotty's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
