About Skeeter
Skeeter is currently being fostered in Wagga Wagga. He has been to quite a few doggy play dates now and I must say for the smallest dog there he does very well! He does get scared when big dogs chase him to play but he will put them in their place if they stand over him! He has met lots of new friends and has had some lovely plays with Pomeranians, other JRs, beagles, spaniels and more! I took him to a play date on Saturday and there was almost 30 dogs in an enclosed off lead area. Skeeter went very well, he was happy to wander around by himself getting lots of pats and attention and meeting new four legged friends. He is really getting more confident with this! He loves to play but is also content to spend cuddle time with his foster sister just enjoying the sunshine. He is small and petite and would make a great dog for someone with a smaller yard. He is friendly with other dogs and cats and quite submissive. He is now fine with our chooks as well, we let them out all day now and he just leaves them alone. He needs gentle handling and would probably not do well around very young children, who might frighten him, but I doubt he would bite. Skeeter just wants to get to know you and be a companion so an older couple or family would suit him best.
