About Bruce (2) (On Trial 23/6/13)
Bruce went on trial on 9/6/13. Bruce is a beautiful kelpie x Rotti 8mths old. \ He is a very happy boy who gets on well with the 8 other dogs in foster care. Bruce is very obedient and loves to please you.
Bruce is a very gentle, slightly dopey boy with engaging bright brown eyes. He will never be able to juggle, ride a skateboard or tell you someone needs help by the giving a special bark, like a Lassie dog. What Bruce excels in is happiness and loyalty, which makes him a very special boy.
Bruce loves to swim, and he would do it all day. Yet if you gave him the opportunity to lie on the lounge eating sandwiches, he would happily do that.
Bruce enjoys submerging his head in a bucket of water; we do not know why, maybe he’s practicing his swimming. He loves to run, but still learning how to use his inbuilt brakes and the direction his legs should go. But being a young dog he will master this.
It is a joy to see Bruce running along with his tongue blowing in the wind and a happy look on his face without a care in the world. He brings joy to your world.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
