About Mannix (On Trial 3/6/13)
Mannix is a 6 month old, small, mixed breed puppy (possibly including toy poodle and miniature schnauzer but we're not sure). He is a VERY affectionate dog - absolutely loves attention and cuddles. He has become a great play mate to our other little foster dog and they have a great time wrestling and playing together.
Mannix is an inside dog who loves a warm bed of a night and a yard to run around in of a day. He has conquered the doggy door and is happy to let himself in and out of the house.
Mannix is still in his puppy playful stage and needs to go to a home that is willing to provide him with lots of fun toys and bones to chew and forgive him for not being perfect just yet and having a rare accident inside. He is settling in well and is a quick learner. He will do very well in puppy training classes and will really thrive in a new home that will enjoy giving him the affection, training, and play time, that every dog needs.
Mannix has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Mannix doesn't like to spend all day alone so he is looking for a loving home with a doggy friend to play with or where someone is home during the day to keep him company. He will make a fun and loving companion to anyone who is prepared to give him the opportunity to shine.
For more information or to meet Mannix please phone foster carer Tegan on 0408 499 004 or email tegan1991@hotmail.com . Mannix is in foster care in Bateau Bay, NSW (on the Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Mannix's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
