Hi I’m Dexter and I’m sad. I have been waiting with BFR for my new loving home for a long time.

I’m starting to think no one wants me and I think I know why... Firstly, Im big! And secondly, I’m stripey. The other dogs are small and pretty or pure bred, but not me.

So, a few weeks ago I was sent on a PAWESOME adventure to stay with Taryn (she is a foster carer) and her dog family. Oh, I loved my adventure so much! At first I wasn’t quite sure what was going on. Why was I in this strange house? So I put my tail between my legs and did a lot of pacing... trying to work out what to do. I was so anxious I couldn’t eat a thing for 2 days! But Taryn was so patient with me, and just left me to get used to my new surroundings.

And then it hit me! I was in a nice place and her family were very cool. We went on a walk every morning and they showed me all the best places to sniff! Every now and then we would start running! It was so fun I wanted to run the whole way! I have so much energy and I love walking and running!

I loved being at Taryns house so much that I decided to show her by wagging my tail and putting my paw on her lap to ask for a pat. I even showed her all my tricks that I had been hiding. I sat, dropped, rolled over. I even shook a paw and gave her high fives! I think she was very impressed because she gave me yummy liver treats!

All I want is to be someone’s bestest friend in the whole wide world and love them for the rest of my days. Is that you? Will you help me find my new loving home ?
