About Norse
Norse is a friendly, goofy boy who just loves people! He’s very affectionate and loving but also a little bit stubborn and tries to play the ‘selective hearing’ card. Because of this, he would benefit from someone confident with managing and training a dog, although he really is just a big pup.
This boy loves other dogs, big or small, male or female. He adjusts to their play style, aware of when his size might be too much for a smaller dog. He’s a bit of a social butterfly, so will do well with regular socialisation if not a part of a pack. But, no cats please, he will chase them.
Norse is very strong and, being young, hasn’t quite learnt to control his strength yet. He isn’t really a jumper except when you sit down he wants to be on your lap. He could get over 5 foot fences but can’t clear 6 foot fences. He is fully toilet trained and sleeps inside without an issue.
Very easy to train once he knows you are boss. Loves the car. Loves the dog park. But he still needs some work on the leash. He loves playing chasies and tackles and tug-0-war, fetch, anything. He just loves playing. He has learnt carpeted rooms are off limits. But will easily forget this if you let him, very stubborn hence needing a strong leader. Not much or a barker.
Norse doesn’t dig holes. Doesn’t need much exercise but does need lots of play time. Oh and he doesn’t like the garbage trucks or garbage bins. The only thing I’ve seen him afraid of. He was well adjusted from day one. So very happy and I’ve not seen a bit of aggression. I think he tries to play with the cat, but the cat is terrified of him and runs so now Norse chases him. He loves cuddles. He is just a great dog.
Medical notes
Norse has since had surgery for his entropion, so his eyes are now wide open and he can fully see again.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
