About Dune
What a smoocher! This big boy just loves his cuddles and he offers loads for the right forever home!
First things first, he loves his food! Motivation is at an all time high when he knows food is involved, plus he is extremely responsive so with a combination of both these traits and ongoing training, you could have him jumping through hoops (they will have to be very large ones mind you) in no time! He is a master at the sit command and although the excitement of food sometimes gets the better of him, we are working very hard on our dinner manners as well as other basic training.
Unfortunately, before Dune came into our care, he was not given the opportunity to socialise with other dogs and can act inappropriately. We have since introduced him to a few larger dogs and as long as he gets a proper introduction, he settles and has been more then happy to be buddies (even offering plenty of smooches to his new friends!). He will however need a home that is happy to continue introducing him to other dogs.
He walks well on the lead (apart from the slight disruption when he sees other dogs) and would benefit from a home that can offer him lots of walks and exercise.
Mainly because of his size and his age (although a very well behaved 6 month old, excitement does sometimes get the better of him and he forgets just how big he is), he would benefit from a home that has experience with larger dogs and will provide ongoing training and socialisation as well as plenty of love and cuddles. He is a gorgeous boy that would rather be sitting at your feet keeping you company (or sitting on your lap if given the chance!) than anywhere else.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
