About Jackson *Big Cuddly Bear*
Meet Jackson… this special man needs a special loving home!
Jackson is a lovable, energetic, friendly and affectionate Dalmation that needs a new loving home as his owner is changing living conditions and is unable to take him with her. Jackson has been loved and very well looked after all his life, he has gone to obedience training and is used to daily exercise.
Jackson loves going for long walks/runs and enjoys playing with other friendly dogs. He is a big boy with a bit of strength behind him so would require an owner that is used to big dogs and dedicated to lots of exercise.
Jackson has a great love and warmth for people, and even though he is a big goof at times, he is also very gentle and affectionate towards children.
Jackson comes desexed, microchiped, vaccinated, wormed and treated with flee prevention.
Medical notes
This beautiful boy has a few medical issues that a new owner would need to be aware of. For the last four years Jackson has suffered from seizures (only one cluster seizure per year and around the same time every year) which the cause is still unkown. Vets are happy that he does not require ongoing medication for his seizures but at the time it happens he needs medical attention. Jackson's previous owner has pet isnurance that currently covers 80% of his medical fees associated with his seizures and this can be passed on to his new owner. Costs of this insurance is $70 per month but worth every cent.
Jackson also is prone to bladder stones (like nearly every Dalamation is) and needs to be on a special vet brand food called U/D for life (this food costs just a little more than a premium dog food would anyway, around $130 per bag).
So as you can see this special boy needs a particular home that will be dedicated to looking after him and maintaining his conditions. However I guarantee you that if you put the time and effort into him he will reward you by being the very best life-long companion you could ever ask for.
Can you give Jackson the second chance at a happy life that he deserves???
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
