About Flossy (On Trial 8/6/12)
Flossy is a 7 to 8 month old Border collie x kelpie. She is a fun, playful energetic dog who loves going for a walk every morning. She gets along well with my dog as she is very submissive. She's really quite a timid soul and loves lots of cuddles.
Flossy walks pretty well on a harness however a little more training needed. She is still very young and would enjoy going to dog training classes and would be the star of the class! She already knows to sit and lay when asked. Through the day she stays outdoors, but at night she comes inside and lays on her bed. She knows the word "bed" and knows that she is not allowed out of her bed indoors.
Flossy would be perfect for a family with another dog or she would be fine as an only dog as she loves lots of attention. Flossy would also need a daily walk, a yard to run around in, and some time inside every day with the family.
For more information or to meet Flossy please phone Caroline on 02-4988-6401 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com . Flossy is in foster care near Raymond Terrace, NSW (30 minutes north of Newcastle) \ and is available for adoption interstate.
Flossy's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
