About Honey *On Trial in Her New Home*
*HONEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* "Honey, Honey how you thrill me, aha, Honey, Honey" Sweet little Honey is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on Valentine’s Day this year. Their mother is a Chihuahua, while their father was a “visiting” Mini Fox Terrier mix.
All of the pups have lovely, friendly natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by primary school aged children as their foster carer is a teacher so they’ve been making regular visits to her classroom much to everyone’s delight – the children even got to name them!! They get along well with their carers other dogs who are a Kelpie x and a Wirehaired Terrier and they enjoy being spoilt by her teenage daughters. All of the pups LOVE food, so hopefully this helps make training them a breeze!
Honey is a very loving pup who likes to be by your side or following you around or better still, on your lap. She absolutely adores cuddles and having such beautiful, soft fur (we love the dark stripe down her back!) it makes it easy to pat her for hours on end – she’s a real time waster! She even enjoys rides in the car – whatever you’re doing Honey will be there. She’s not as full on as her siblings either and likes to just lie back and take it all in. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Honey very happy indeed!
As Honey is already picking up housetraining she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
