About Riley
Riley is becoming a friendly, happy little boy and coming out of the dark tunnel of his previous life. He came into care frightened, lonely, confused and defensive and we believe must have been ignored and mistreated because he just sat there and frowned. Now Riley is living the good life, his mood has got much better and with lots of TLC is developing into a loving and delightful little dog longing to live the life of, well, Riley! He is so happy when you come home and greets you enthusiastically. Riley loves his food (and especially appreciates bones) and likes to explore the garden or sleep in the sun. He does find walks a puzzle because it is clear that he has never been for a walk on a lead. Riley will follow you round the house during the day then sleep quietly on his doggy bed at night. Riley would like a home with no small children and, as he relaxes and become more playful, may enjoy the company of another small female dog. He will continue to need patience as he learns to be loved and cared for, go for walks, snooze on your lap and get used to a life of luxury. Riley will need regular grooming to keep him looking handsome and smart and is a house dog that is house trained requiring indoor access via a doggy door or similar.
