playful young man. now ready for his new home. Currently in foster care in the western suburbs.
Lucky
Lucky is such sweet, snuggly man! He loves nothing more than to cuddle up in your lap and sleep while
you spend time watching TV. He is content just being near you.
He would love to go to a home with another gentle, older dog so that he can have some company
throughout the day while everyone is out. He is also used to cats. He would make a fine addition to most
families really.
Being a whippet x, he will really feel the elements when outside and so he needs to be protected from
the cold and the heat.
When you’re at home and inside, that’s where he should be. He’d also love to sleep inside. His ideal
spot would be in bed with you so that he has some company, however, right now, he sleeps in a crate
indoors with the company of his brother (who has already been adopted but is just waiting to be
collected).
He will quickly learn to use a doggy door, therefore, if you would consider installing one and toilettraining him, he will be in his perfect environment. If you live on a farming property with farm fences,
you need not apply. A requirement will be to have a medium to large-sized secure yard with 6ft fences
all around - if you know whippets you’ll know this is a must. Experience with whippets is an advantage,
however, not a necessity to apply. Researching the breed before applying is a must!
Like all puppies, he will be a sook when he first comes home, however, with a little time and patience,
he’ll become familiar with your environment and the love you have to give.
