About Charlie (On Trial 27/5/13)
Charlie is a little bundle of joy. This 11 month old Jack Russell is such a little sweetheart; his favourite things are walking, fetch and cuddles. Charlie gets on well with other dogs, is lovely with children. He is even friendly with our cat!
Charlie is very well mannered, gentle and has basic obedience training which he would benefit continuing as he loves to learn and thrives at school. He will need a daily walk as he thoroughly enjoys getting out and about. He’s just loves to play fetch. He will find his ball when asked and bring it back to you.
Charlie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home and after dark. At night Charlie loves to come inside and be with his family, whether curled up at your feet or on your lap while watching TV. He loves to be cuddled. He would need to be able to sleep inside on his own bed or if allowed he will sleep at the end of your bed. He does feel the cold so he needs a little jumper for the winter and he doesn’t mind wearing one. He has a short, easy care coat and just needs a weekly brush and occasional bath to keep his coat nice.
Charlie is a dear little man who would love a home with a playmate or an owner that would be home with him a lot. He would love to be able to play fetch a lot in he’s new home. He would suit any type of home environment as long as he wasn’t left alone for overly long periods at a time.
For more information or to meet Charlie please phone foster carer Mel on 0432 288 773 or email me11ne@hotmail.com . Charlie is in Edgeworth, NSW 2285 (northern Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate.
Charlie's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
