About Ellie
Hi my name is Ellie and i'm 4 years old. I'm a quiet girl and very friendly and I love cuddles. I run with other dogs whilst here at SRV and get along fine with them.
Some notes from Ellie's assessment were : Full body touch allowed and enjoyed the attention. Will come when called and sit with the help of a gentle hand but appears to have had no other formal training. She was introduced to a husky and initially Ellie wagged her tail and seemed happy to meet a new friend but then the husky growled at her and she was a little frightened and went to sit beside observer for reassurance. She showed no aggression at all, did not show any interest in toys and did not startle when tested.
Ellie takes food gently from the hand and can be patted when eating from a bowl on the ground.
Overall Ellie is a very placid and quiet girl who is a little timid around unfamiliar people and places. She is very affectionate and loving once she has been reassured all is ok. She likes to walk with you on or off the lead. Although she has not had any formal training Ellie is very obedient and learns very quickly when shown what to do.
